Sample article: a small-business backup checklist
Sample seeded article — replace with your own content. A short, honest checklist for making sure the backups you think you have are backups you can actually restore.
This is seeded sample content so the Insights section has something to render — replace it with a real article before launch.
Backups fail quietly. The checklist below is the one we walk through with every new client.
The 3-2-1 shape
Three copies of your data, on two kinds of storage, with one copy off-site. For most small businesses that means: the working copy, a local backup, and a cloud backup.
Test the restore, not the backup
A backup you’ve never restored from is a hope, not a plan. Pick one file a quarter and actually restore it. Time it. If it takes an afternoon to find, fix that now — not during an outage.
