How we work

Know what happens next, at every stage.

Technology projects go wrong when nobody is sure what is happening or who is deciding what. Every engagement follows the same five stages, so you always know where things stand and what is being asked of you.

The five stages

Organized, and easy to be part of.

Most of the work is ours. Your involvement is concentrated in the moments where your judgment actually matters.

  1. Understand

We learn how your business actually runs — what your team does daily, where the friction is, and what you have already tried. No recommendations until we understand the work.

  2. Plan

You get a written plan in plain language: what we would do, in what order, what it costs, and what can wait. You approve the scope before any work begins.

  3. Build

Work happens in stages, scheduled around your business rather than through the middle of it. You get regular updates, and nothing significant changes without a conversation first.

  4. Launch

Changes go live carefully, with a way back if something behaves unexpectedly. Your team gets shown how everything works before we call it finished.

  5. Support

We stay accountable after launch with monitoring, maintenance, and a help desk your team can contact directly. The documentation is handed over, so you are never locked in.

Communication

No surprises along the way.

Being kept informed should not require chasing anyone.

  • Updates you do not chase

Regular progress notes in plain language, so you always know which stage the work is at.

  • Costs agreed in advance

Scope and price are approved before work starts. Changes get discussed, never invoiced quietly.

  • Decisions explained

When there is a trade-off, you hear the options and the reasoning behind them, not just the outcome.

  • Documentation handed over

Everything we set up is written down and belongs to you, whether or not we keep working together.

Working together

What we need from you.

These stages work because they are collaborative, not because they are rigid. Most of the effort sits with us, but a few things only you can provide — and knowing them up front keeps everything moving.

  • An honest picture of what is not working
  • One person who can make decisions
  • Access to accounts and equipment when the time comes
  • A short review at the end of each stage
