Moonlark is an IT services business serving homes and small businesses in the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids Corridor. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you contact us by phone, text, or email, we receive whatever you choose to tell us: usually your name, your contact details, and a description of the problem you are having.
When you book a call through this website, the booking is handled by Cal.com. They collect your name, email address, and the time you selected, and pass it to us. Their privacy policy governs what they do with it on their end.
This website is hosted by Framer, which records basic, aggregated visit statistics such as page views and rough location. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build profiles of visitors.
What we see when we work on your devices
Repair and support work sometimes means we can see files, photos, messages, and accounts on your device. We look only at what is necessary to fix the problem you asked us to fix. We do not copy, retain, or share your files, and we do not go looking through anything unrelated.
We do keep our own service records: what device we worked on, what was wrong, and what we did about it. That is so we can help you faster next time and so you have a written history of the work.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not pass it to marketing companies. The only third parties who touch your details are the ones we need to run the business, listed above.
How long we keep things
Service records are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can answer questions about past work. Enquiries that do not turn into work are cleared out periodically.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@moonlark.io or call (319) 600-7076 and we will handle it. There is no form and no process to navigate.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
